Open source doesn’t fix complexity, redundancy, or hidden agendas.
I just wish Sun’s new strategy was to fix Java, rather than pretend there’s nothing broken. Slapping a big “Now with more Source!” sticker on Java doesn’t help me.
The press will eat anything. But if you don’t do the right thing, the developers will go elsewhere. Wait, they already are.
