Everytime someone makes a comment or trackbacks to this blog, I get an e-mail notification. It lets me see what other people are saying, and respond to it. But it excludes my readers from the conversation.
So I just added RSS feeds for individual posts. Each post has its own feed and you can subscribe to this feed to see all the comments and trackbacks for it.
On my side, when I want to follow conversations in other blogs, I add their feed to a track folder. Otherwise, I’m just going to forget to go back and check for new comments. Usually, the conversation dies after a few days, at which point I just remove that feed, so my track folder tends to stay light. I use FeedDemon, which makes it a breeze to add and remove feeds, but the next change will make subscription even easier for more people.
